Aims/ Objectives/ Rationale:


Businesses operate in a constantly changing environment. Businesses that want to successfully ride the wave of the knowledge economy must always consider ideas as the most precious commodity, and employees who produce them as sought-after resources. There is an increased recognition that the competitive advantage of business organizations depends heavily on their ability to capitalize on their employees’ creative and innovative ideas. This module aims to provide an understanding of the origin of creativity, group approaches to innovation, and managing creative and innovative teams. In addition it will develop the skills needed to be creative and to manage the innovation process that turns those creative ideas into new products, processes and strategies.
